Frances received her Juris Doctor in 2021 from the University of Saskatchewan. She was awarded the Orest and Marie Bendas Prize in Jurisprudence and the F.C. Cronkite Prize, both in 2020. During law school she also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada. Frances articled with Legal Aid in The Pas, Manitoba before being called to the bar in Saskatchewan in 2022. She began her career as a defence lawyer with Legal Aid at the Northern Area office in La Ronge in 2022, and in 2025 she joined Gryba Gratton Law. She practices exclusively in the area of criminal defence.
Frances has appeared in court points throughout Saskatchewan. She has experience in a broad range of criminal matters, including violent offences, drug trafficking, DUI/impaired driving charges, sexual offences, weapons charges, and property offences. Frances uses a flat-free retainer arrangement to ensure that clients are aware of the cost of their file before proceeding.
Frances is a member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan and the Canadian Bar Association.
